Reading, Writing & Recovery

This group focuses on reading a selection of fiction, prose and poetry to reveal themes, promote dialog and recognition of principles of recovery.

Drawing from a wide range of authors, group participants discuss themes, write personal essays, and share them in group.

The connection between literature, reading, writing, and discussion bring connection between group members, and connect these themes with our daily lives, and the journey of recovery

Spiritual Formation

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

3D: Decide-Do-Discuss

What’s different now? As you come into recovery, things are changing. You’re choosing to do things in new ways. You’re taking action. People thought they knew what to expect of you and now some of those people will need to adjust to a different dynamic.

How do we stay true to our intention to recover?

In 3D group, we examine:

-What did you DECIDE?

-What are you DOING?

-How are you DISCUSSING it?

The purpose of this group is to reevaluate the interplay among what we value and therefore intend to pursue; what steps to take to move in that direction; and how best to enlist others —or at least address their resistance.
